Matty Lovell is living proof that adversity is a vital ingredient for success
In 2011, he found himself in the heart of the Christchurch earthquake. Though safe from the initial shake, Matty spent eight hours at the collapsed PGC building, pulling survivors from the rubble. Later that year, an accident left him with two broken kneecaps and the life-changing diagnosis that he might never run again. Facing physical and emotional challenges, Matty began a journey of rebuilding his life with resilience and determination.
Today, Matty is a husband, father, and ambitious entrepreneur with a passion for human wellness and performance. Over the years, he has started, bought, sold, and managed multiple award winning businesses. A finalist in the Westpac Business Awards as an Emerging Leader, Matty now channels his energy into growing O-Studio, a wellness franchising company dedicated to helping others thrive.
In addition to O-Studio, Matty is the host of two inspiring podcasts: The O-Studio Podcast and The Road to Success. Through conversations with world-class performers and experts, he uncovers thought-provoking insights to inspire personal and professional growth, and unlock human well-being and performance.
